MBA Grand Rapids Camps

MBA offers quality skill training year round for the elite, experienced, and everyone.  Camps are run by our qualified coaching staff at our state-of-the-art facilities.  We focus on teaching correct technique, pushing players to the next level in a fun atmosphere.

Camps are run in age-appropriate groups.  Sessions are offered fall, winter, spring, and summer.

Little Ballers – Designed for K–3rd graders, this co-ed program focuses on proper technique, positive instruction, and repetition-based learning to help young players build confidence and discover a love for the sport. Start your athlete’s journey here!

Youth Academy – Designed for 4th–8th grade athletes, this co-ed program provides focused training and competitive play for those ready to elevate their game. Take the next step in your basketball journey with our Youth Academy Camp.

Ball Handling – For 7th – 11th graders: This clinic is for players who are serious about taking their ball handling skills to the next level with the help of our AAU coaches. We will work on drills that our players can take home with them to work on on a daily basis. There will be a variety of stationary, game-like, and full court dribbling drills incorporated.

Shooting Series – For 7th – 11th graders: By splitting into small groups individually run by MBA coaches, athletes will get hundreds of shots up in this shooting series all while being taught proper shooting mechanics. Repetition is key!

All MBA Grand Rapids Camps will be held at MSA Woodland: 2100 28th Street SE, unless otherwise noted.

This fast-paced version of 3v3 will give players an opportunity to change the way they play. After every made or missed basket, the opposing team takes the ball back to the three point line without having to check the ball up. There is no time to celebrate after a made basket or sulk after a missed one! Games will be short but tiring for players in this format. This brand of basketball is beneficial for all youth players learning to play with a motor without taking plays off. Each week will consist of 4, 12-minute games with MBA staff helping with coaching/officiating. Every team will have 4 players and subbing will take place every 3-minutes. You register individually and are placed on a different team each week. Our MBA staff picks new teams every week to ensure games are as competitive as possible.
