MBA TEAM PROGRAMS
MBA offers teams for boys in 3rd – 12th grade and girls in 4th – 12th grade. From in-house 616 teams to national AAU teams we are excited to train the elite, experienced, and everyone. The ultimate goal of MBA is to help develop each and every player to meet their full potential on and off the court.
Michigan Basketball Academy offers high-level, quality training through team practices and individual skills training with the best coaches in West Michigan. Our coaches are dedicated to improving your game and pushing you to be the best teammate and person through our Teach.Life.Sport mission.

MBA BOYS AAU PROGRAM
MBA BOYS AAU TEAMS ARE:
- For 3rd – 12th grade boys with a full season commitment including tryouts
- TRAINING & TOURNAMENTS | Twice a week practice AND weekly individual skill session with league play and tournament play
- LEVELS | Local, Regional and National levels offered at most age groups to meet players where they are at and push them to the next level
- SEASON | November – March for 3rd – 8th grade boys with the top team continuing to a April – June Spring schedule. Season runs March – July for high school boys.
- MBA DIFFERENCE | Experienced, passionate coaches. State of the art facility (MSA Woodland). Core Values program to train the whole athlete.
MBA GIRLS AAU PROGRAM
MBA GIRLS AAU TEAMS ARE:
- For 4th – 12th grade girls with a full season commitment including tryouts
- TRAINING & TOURNAMENTS | Twice a week practice AND weekly individual skill session with league play and tournament play
- LEVELS | Local, Regional, National levels offered at most age groups to meet players where they are at and push them to the next level
- SEASON | November – March for 4th – 8th grade girls with top teams continuing to a Spring season running April – June. Season runs March – July for 9th – 12th grade girls.
- MBA DIFFERENCE | Experienced, passionate coaches. State of the art facility (MSA Woodland). Core Values program to train the whole athlete.
MBA PREP LOCAL PROGRAM
MBA PREP TEAMS ARE:
- For boys & girls in 3rd – 8th grade. Athletes are placed by gender and grade with teammate requests accepted
- TRAINING & TOURNAMENTS | Once a week team practice, weekly skills sessions and local league play. No tournaments.
- LEVELS | Prep teams are local teams offering recreational basketball with quality training and coaching.
- SEASON | Seasons run in 6 sessions.
- MBA DIFFERENCE | Quality coaches. State of the art facility (MSA Woodland). Core Values program to train the whole athlete.
