When was Michigan Sports Academies formed?
Michigan Volleyball Academy began in 2007 with a mission of providing quality training, positive coaching, and a focus on teamwork. MVA quickly grew to the largest volleyball club in West Michigan with over 500 team athletes as well as private lessons, year-round camps and clinics, tournaments, and power leagues.
In 2013, MVA evolved into Michigan Sport Academies and basketball joined the team. Michigan Basketball Academy experience immediate success with both the boys and girls programs. MBA is now thriving with middle school and high school teams, youth leagues, tournaments, and year-round camps and clinics.
In 2017, MSA launched into the lacrosse and soccer markets. MLXA was created and River City FC and ABK Futsal came together to form MFA. With the expansion of MSA, the need for a home grew.
Michigan Sports Academies began operations of MSA Fieldhouse in June of 2016, MSA Woodland in December of 2016, and MSA Sports Spot in January of 2017.
What sets Michigan Sports Academies Apart?
MSA has something for everyone. We service over 2,000 camp and clinic athletes a year across 3 sports starting at age 2 and going through high school.
MSA has teams at every level. We offer in-house team with quality coaching as well as regional and national travel teams. We have won national championships in volleyball and futsal.
MSA is on the cutting edge of training. Our volleyball program is avcaVPI licensed. Our MBA athletes have access to our shooting gun and can put up 1,000 over our 3-day shooting series. Our MFA programs have primary access to the best soccer and futsal facilities in the region
MSA has partnered with D1 training, skilled state of the art sports performance trainers.
Does MSA offer anything other than youth sports?
Our facilities are used for pickleball, model airplane flyers, roller derby, gymnastics, dog shows, baby shows and more!

Do you offer facility rental or event hosting? How do I rent a facility?
We rent our basketball, volleyball, and futsal courts as well as our soccer and lacrosse fields. We also love to host birthday parties, open houses, family reunions, and corporate events! Visit our facilities page for more information!
